The management service of the decommissioning and transfer of industrial plants and sites offered by Anasco covers the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and packaging sectors with special expertise and experience, but can also concern other sectors with similar complexities and requirements.

In fact, the aforementioned sectors require in-depth knowledge of specific safety, health, environmental and contamination prevention issues, as well as precautions to leave the dismantled site in excellent condition and to facilitate a rapid and effective restoration of production in the new location.

Fundamental to the success of a decommissioning project with the transfer of complete industrial plants is the in-depth initial analysis of the condition of the existing assets and the characteristics of the new lease. The underestimation of specific risks can lead to an uncontrolled increase in times and costs, in addition to the difficulties in restarting the plants in the new location.

Anasco is responsible for planning and guiding all the activities involved in the divestment and transfer processes, making use of specialized and field-tested international contractors or evaluating contractors proposed by the client company. A clear definition of responsibilities within the project team will be the foundation for its successful success.

The service is usually carried out with a multivalent support to the organizational structure of the client, so that it can continuously maintain control of the financial flows at stake and delegate us the supervision and coordination of the operational and management activities of the construction site, both in the organization part and budgeting than in that of execution.

We can carry out the assignment of design, marking, electrical disconnection, drainage, reclamation, disassembly, packaging, shipping and reconstruction contracts while maintaining the supervision and management of construction sites with the use of our specialist figures such as Project Managers, Directors and Safety Managers, RSPP and CSE (Safety Coordinator during Execution). Systematic site meetings and meetings of the project management committee will mark the progress of the work according to the agreed program.

For the decommissioning activity, particular attention is paid to the precautions for the prevention of contamination of the environmental matrices of the site, especially if an environmental remediation activity is planned. A team of expert technicians and specialized partner companies is set up for marking, 3D scanning of the systems (if they will be reassembled elsewhere), their electrical disconnection and preliminary reclamation.

The contractor in charge of disassembly proceeds with the dismantling, conservative packaging and loading and the logistics company organizes and executes the transport, while the companies specialized in waste management and disposal coordinate the proper management and enhancement of the generated waste.

In the case of the transfer, the analysis of the existing know-how and the knowledge of the new organization are of great importance. Anasco, after stipulating secrecy agreements, can support the correct transfer of know-how with the formation of the new organization, also from an operational point of view.

Then the reconstruction is assigned to specialized engineering and construction companies that, together with the customer's technicians and the professionals of Anasco, also deal with the restart of the production with the fine-tuning of the processes.

We pay further attention to the legal aspects, to the registrations, but also to any logistical problems that may occur due to the dangerousness of the transport of dangerous goods, with UN and ADR classification of the same.

International relocation

Anasco has a proven track record of relocation from Italy to India of complex industrial plants. We have all the necessary skills to design, assign and coordinate all the activities involved in an international transfer and restart of production, also dealing with the relationship with the competent public bodies.

Of course, we strictly follow local environmental and safety regulations, with a preventive approach, both of the transferring country and of the one to which the plant will be transferred.

Reshoring

As part of the transfer of an industrial reshoring plant in Europe, problems may occur with REACH registrations or it may happen that the transfer takes place between countries that do not have the same technical or customs regulations.

In this case it is essential to proceed with a check with the local authorities, trying to resolve in advance all the problems relating to import-export regulations. What Anasco offers is an all-round service: we interface with all the authorities regarding permits, authorizations and more. We can also relate to transport companies by smoothing out all related problems.

To offer you a complete service, Anasco makes use of a group of professionals and experienced leading international companies in the various sectors, with which it has been collaborating for some time, which are specialized and experienced in all the activities envisaged.

Ultimately, Anasco wants to be your competent trusted partner who fully understands your needs and transforms them together with you into a realistic executive project, with relative budget. Therefore, Anasco constitutes the work team and coordinates its activities with an overview that is systematically reported to you, until the completion of the project, allowing you to decommission or transfer your industrial plant in the most complete and serene way possible.
